All employees, including Stylists, Assistants, and Management Positions, are required to submit their monthly shift requests by the end of each month for the following month's schedule. This process ensures efficient scheduling and proper staffing management.
Submission Rules
Submission Deadline: By the last day of each month.
Submission Method: Submit your shift requests using the Shift Submission Form linked below.
Approval: All requests will be reviewed and approved by Germaine or the respective Manager.
Special Requests: Consecutive days off or special leave must be clearly stated and justified. Approval is at the discretion of the Manager.
Penalties for Non-Submission
If an employee fails to submit their shift request by the deadline without valid justification:
Automatic Allocation of Days Off: A minimum of 4 days off will be automatically assigned by Germaine or the respective Manager.
These 4 days off will be chosen by management and may not align with the employee’s preferred schedule.
Stylists & Assistants: Deduction from their Incentive Bonus (if eligible).
Management Positions: Deduction from their Management Bonus (if eligible).
Non-Eligibility Clause: If the employee is not eligible for a bonus, no penalty will be applied.
All employees are eligible for annual paid leave and medical leave (MC) based on their length of service and performance.
Eligibility & Conditions
Annual Paid Leave: 14 days/year after completing 6 months of service.
Medical Leave (MC): 14 days/year outpatient sick leave + 14 days/year inpatient sick leave.
Carry Over Policy: Unused paid leave can be carried over to the following year or converted to salary.
Approval: Submit your request using the Leave Submission Form linked below.
Approval Required By: Germaine or the respective Manager.
Exceeding Paid Leave / MC Quota
If the annual paid leave/MC quota is exceeded, up to 2 days of paid leave may be utilized on weekends or holidays with approval from Germaine or a Manager.
If no approval is obtained, the request will be considered invalid.
Reporting an absence promptly and properly is essential for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring fair workload distribution.
Absence Reporting Rules
Reporting Method: All absences must be reported using the Absence Submission Form linked below.
Approval Required By: Germaine or the respective Manager.
Deadline: Report your absence as soon as possible, ideally before the start of your shift.
Penalties for Unreported Absences
If an employee fails to report an absence without valid justification:

Management Positions: Deduction from their Management Bonus (if eligible).

Germaine or the respective Manager must approve all requests for them to be valid.
Failure to comply with these policies may result in disciplinary actions, including bonus deductions or performance reviews.
